Building an Outdoor Fire Table Using Plaster

What happens here

Once the initial base frame is complete and tested for structural integrity (by standing on it), the creator proceeds to build the second tier. This tier is designed to create a 5-inch overhang on all sides of the lower section. He repeats the process of measuring, cutting, and screwing together C-channel and J-channel metal components to create a second, larger rectangular frame. This second frame is then positioned on top of the first tier, creating the desired two-level structure for the fire pit table. Internal bracing is added to support the top surface where the burner will eventually sit.

all right uh it's all Square it's a really fun process I'll be completely honest with you highly recommend it I've never done this before really enjoying it especially for outdoor projects that's what I would definitely consider using again let's see how strong this thing is listen I'm like 205 lbs and this thing is not bunching anywhere even though it looks flimsy you know how all these sides go in but structurally I mean as long as your studs are space 16 apart and and all the screws are secured this thing's a banger up next we need to start working on our second tier so this is the bottom tier the second tier is going to come out five in on every side and then build up total height is going to be 24 in so it's 12 in and another 12 in and then that part will have braces for it to sit on hopefully kind of Squish the whole thing [Music] oh these are two different types of screws [Music]
