Building and Installing Column Trim

What happens here

Prepare composite boards to trim out the structural columns. Pre-assemble the corners of the trim pieces with screws to create L-shaped sections. Use a table saw to rip the composite boards to the appropriate widths (e.g., 3.5 inches and 2.5 inches) to achieve the desired column dimensions and to cover the existing post edges. Once assembled, cut the L-shaped trim to the correct length and install them onto the columns.

Goal: Trim out structural columns with composite material for a finished look
