Building A RECESSED TV WALL On A Deck!

What happens here

Using a tape measure, measure and mark a length of pressure-treated lumber (a 2x4 or similar) that will serve as the base plate for the wall frame. Once marked, place two additional pieces of lumber parallel to the first, creating a sandwich. Use a speed square to ensure cuts are straight. Then, use a cordless drill with construction screws to securely fasten these three pieces together, forming a sturdy and level bottom plate for the wall frame.

Goal: Create a sturdy and level bottom plate for the wall frame.
