Budget Turbo Yukon XL 4L80 Conversion (Part 4): THE WIRING CONVERSION LIFE HACK! The BEST Way!
What happens here
After successfully repinning the ECU connectors, proceed to the rear O2 sensors. Locate and cut the tan/white wire (Pin 29) and the purple/white wire (Pin 68) from the rear O2 sensor harness, as these are no longer needed for the 4L80E conversion. Strip the ends of the cut wires and use heat shrink butt connectors to connect them to the wires from the VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) pigtail. Ensure a secure connection and heat shrink the connectors to provide a weatherproof seal. This VSS pigtail will then plug into the rear of the transmission.
Goal: Connect VSS pigtail to rear O2 sensor wires
