BRUTAL test of equipment that STOPS Allergies #mowing

let me just pop this on real quick [Music] [Applause] this right here i believe is the stuff that i am the most allergic to i hate this stuff good morning evening afternoon you guys we're going to be looking at a product that i've never seen before some of you guys may suffer from severe allergies if you're like me i can't mow without breaking out in hives or not being able to breathe and i'm here with mike and mike has invented a product that is designed to help guys breathe better air okay tell me a little bit about this thing will you mike it has got a motor an electric motor that runs off a 12 volt battery of course and it's hepa filter air so everything that's coming through the hood is coming through that filter first okay so we we build it to where it's pulling through there on that filter it has a pre-screens to catch the big particles so you make your filter last longer so who is this designed for what i mean what what is this anything dust related if you're gonna be in i don't care if you're woodworking and you're in a shop because we have it on a belt and a battery pack uh so anything dust related you're gonna be breathing it if it's going it really needs to stay out of your body not in your body so this is the battery system and you've got two settings on this continual and you can actually control it either with the switch with the on the battery or on the motor on the motor okay so you just can plug it in and then you can just return it how long does this run for it runs for four hours pretty i mean continually if you ran that for continually you'd run four hours so then it connects up to this hood system let me just pop this on real quick and i'm going to fog this up because it's got air that flows down both the front of the mask and the back of the mask i'm going to fog this up just like i would because if i was out working i wouldn't be able to see in about three minutes so that took about what 30 seconds to clear up yeah about 15 30 but i noticed it's noisy so you're getting a lot of airflow you're getting a lot of we're using massive air not passive air okay so that is it's basically giving you a good strong fan yup of air going over your head that keeps you cooler yeah i noticed that right away and it forces the dust out so you don't have dirt coming back up under it i could see like a welder especially like if you're in a hot welding shop you put this on you've got a cool breeze blowing in the front of your face and the back of your face and it's keeping you from breathing whatever kind of gases yeah coming off that metal areas of my lawn that i'd save to my wife's dismay she's hates our lawn but it is what it is it gives me the opportunity to go in there i've got weeds that are this tall that i look at and i just i don't even want to touch because i know that what's gonna happen next is i'm gonna be i'm gonna i'm gonna be suffering for sure so we're gonna do some weed whipping we're gonna be doing some mowing unfogged and i'll tell you right now it's just a lot cooler yeah i may look like a star wars figure but it's more comfortable having this on with that breeze it's more comfortable having on because of the breeze than off all right well let's get some new string and keep going [Music] so [Music] i'll tell ya my allergies aren't bad but my skin is on fire so i think you need to make one of these for your entire body okay [Applause] this right here i believe is the stuff that i am the most allergic to and i'm guessing some of you guys might be too i think it's called ragweed i believe that's right i don't know for sure but anytime i see yellow i get away my hippie daughter she's out harvesting freaking itchweed she forced me to keep it's over here she forced me to keep all this itch i would have mowed this cast i'd have mowed this in a heartbeat if it wasn't for you mowing medicine for no reason right there is that it so there's stuff in the garden over there that you should visit yeah it's not pokey it doesn't hurt it's not stinging nettle no it don't burn but i remember there was nettle somewhere over here so i assumed all this was it maybe it is maybe it's just maybe when it gets too big immune to the burn all right well i'm not here you hold it i can tell you i'm not immune to the burn i hate this stuff are you recording yep well you got to wait a little bit yeah it does kind of run a little bit on my finger but i touched all that stuff didn't burn and i looked at the hairs and usually in the center here there's like a bunch of hairs so can i mow that no just wait well let me know if it burns or not my arm doesn't burn but the rest of me is burning from all the other crap i've been mowing okay like why do you just have to end right here where you ended it yeah i'm gonna i can't i can't mow in there anyway oh yeah it's starting to is it enjoy your itch weed hippie chick well let me know if this is maybe no good weed goes to waste you got a hippie chick living with you she'll she'll tell you what all the medicine is for all right let's check out the next area we're going to be starting to mow now because there's even going to be more weeds flying [Music] one of the things i noticed that this could benefit from is a quick disconnect from the helmet because there's a lot of times i'd love to take the helmet off and not to worry about anything else but i got to take the entire system off to do it is there is are you going to show me something so that is oh okay so that's an easy way to uh you fix that fast didn't you make me look like an idiot i do that good enough on my own all right let's keep going let's see we got to move some sticks and stuff in here it's too thick i can smell a weed i don't know for sure if it's ragweed but i can smell definitely smell the weeds that are you're cutting we've got so many different kinds of just not just weeds in here that i get hit with all these different odors and half the time i have no clue what it is so i just know that it's none of it's fun so how you feeling about your fun now all right i'll tell you just wearing the helmet just by itself is nicer but it's it's just just like right now like if i take it off i'm working i'm hot i'm sweaty and it's like no i don't know i got four hours of runtime why don't i just leave it on and work get my star wars gear come over here hug your daughter for let's see how you're all sweaty and gross it's hot out when you're working but when you're wearing this it's not bad at all i did lose the battery though yeah it has like a fan or something yeah it's got a fan in the helmet oh nice remember when we were cutting all that brush out at the campsite this would have saved our box yeah especially with this roundup did you you should see that link i sent you i did you're not messed up [Music] okay what are you gonna do about my arms and legs itching mike we're gonna make some sleeves and we're working on those are you serious we really are we're working on a sleeve right now dad i was kidding oh no seriously that's one of our other things it's it's out of kevlar it's a kevlar design to where if you're in briars you don't get your arms eat up but we're going to try to make it breathable and we're we would also like to have it hooked up to where you can get the air down the sleeves too so where you can get air flow okay so yeah we we had it brought to our attention and so in our in the sewing shop that's something that tony's we're we're going to be working on that okay all right well i can tell you right now that uh by this time i haven't sneezed once just letting you know there's no way i could have done what i did without my eyes watering and sneezing and snotting but uh let's go let's keep going let's go this is this this edge right here always kills me i don't know why it's this ditch edge right here oh well what do you don't like mike i'm seeing the battery pack the way it's hanging it needs to be up a little bit tighter on the belt but other than that that's just a design thing what if you strapped it around your leg what if you had a bottom strap so it's strapped around the leg and then this this top strap had a loop over the top so you could secure it some way so as you're walking because it's not then it won't dangle and jangle like that well do you think it would be better if it was mounted there i i don't know i i yeah i don't know i think you'll quit pulling down heavier but yeah i mean i like that we'll look at different designs but always want to make sure it's comfortable that is our biggest thing is to make sure you're comfortable wearing our system so what do you guys think would you would you rather see it like strap to your legs so that it's secured to your leg or would you rather see it up higher so that it's secured up here because there's the inventor he's the one that's going to fix it all right let's find something even worse tomorrow everyone i want to find something even worse so we're passing our assets so far i haven't sneezed once my eyes don't itch my skin itches my skin crawls even my legs itch but i'm absolutely clean and freer i'm not snotting and sneezing nothing nothing that's what we're that's what we're after yeah i'm here right now mike you've already passed as far as i'm concerned if this is gonna help guys out for sure you got some improvements to make i can tell you right now i already like putting it in my pocket yeah i can see that yeah because it just it feels good it's nice and tight it's in there it lets me walk around um but i i do i do want to keep going though i want to i mean i don't i don't just mow sections when i mow i mow it out i want to kill it yep [Music] so [Music] all right you guys i don't know what else i can do i don't have anything worse than this this is about as bad as it gets as far as allergies are concerned there's no way i can go in this area everything and everything in here basically wants to kill me as soon as i come in here well i think that's going to conclude this one you guys i don't know what else i can throw at this thing uh yes i do yes i do i know what else i can throw at this thing i can just throw leads right at it let's just let's just do it let's just line them up and toss them right in my face [Music] so i want to keep the inside clean but i'm perfectly fine let's check out how the filter is this is what we want this this i could have never done this without this i couldn't have been out here so could you smell it can you oh i could smell it bad i could smell it bad and when you were cutting this over here that odor was coming through so strong i had to get out of the wind of it i can smell it right now i couldn't smell any of this and my skin is on fire this is one of those videos where i got to take two showers when i'm done all right you guys want to see uh see how bad the mower took it you know you did a good day's work when your mower ends up looking like that right thing and i'm against allergy medicine because it kills me every time i take a benadryl i feel like sleeping for three days i can't do those and the other ones make me jittery so i just suffer i just opinion is that hose that comes down i could see that being a hazard like if you're brush cutting or something that's catching and ripping and tearing when you get into you know really tough dirt work like some of the guys like some of you guys are doing what if that was chest mounted what if the the battery and the hepa filter was right here so you could just hit a button turn it on hit another button turn it off and the hose just came up over your shoulder and ran straight up the mask right there just gave you enough so you could turn and look but nothing else was dangling so nothing is getting caught and ripped i thought maybe that could be one improvement that he could make on that design so if you guys have other improvements or other ideas pop it into the comments down below but
