BEST Way To Paint Doors. AIRLESS SPRAYING.
What happens here
The airless sprayer (a Titan 410 Impact) is prepared by first running soapy water (Dawn dish soap) through it to clean out any previous contaminants. This is followed by running clean water to flush out the soap. The presenter will be using a Titan Fine Finish 410 tip, a purple-colored tip specifically designed for achieving a smooth, automobile-like finish. The sprayer pressure is set to approximately 2300 PSI. Before spraying, the doors are removed from their hinges and placed on steel door hangers (available from TheIdahoPainter.com) to allow for spraying both sides simultaneously. The metal weather stripping on the doors is also masked off.
Goal: The airless sprayer is cleaned and set up with the appropriate tip, and the doors are positioned for spraying.
