BEST FAUCET REPAIR GUIDE EVER!!

actual size stem chart hey folks that fix it guy here and in today's society we tend to do a lot more replacing and a lot less fixing well i found something today that tickled my plumbing fancy and i wanted to share so come along let's get to fix it [Music] [Applause] all right folks so this poster right here is 19 by 27 and it's some awesomeness all right this is made by joan stevens and their motto or slogan is we got it all right and you can tell by this stem selection right here that it's awesome all of these are to size so this is actually the exact size of this and check that out man there is so many different manufacturers on here chicago and speakman and broadway i mean all these big hitters right valley damien valley i wonder if he made that altman sigma fisher fister right everything glacier bay seiko i mean if you can't find it on here delta and check it out look at that they list all those part numbers for all these different versions right it's super cool another thing that i really like is check that out the stem spline count look at that the diameter of the stem spline counts not for just not to scale but look at that we go to this one right here well it's got 12 splines on it these ones this is actually that a half moon spline right so it's not even really a there's no there's no count on it but it's just got that half moon and that's pro flow so pro flow is kind of that same delta style right where glacier bay as well but then i mean a lot of these it's awesome man so many different things like this one right here that's crazy american standard 22 splines on that bad boy they're not even that big it's kind of crazy and you get down here to a couple of these chicagos and they're square like i love it i think it's super awesome even these little push button cartridges by chicago super cool so the other thing with this is compression washerless and ceramic stems right so when you're looking at a compression it's going to be the kind with the washer actually built onto it right that is going to be a compression style compresses down and stops now if you're talking about washerless it's something going to be like this delta right where the washer is down in the bottom and it's that seating spring kind of like this right here this right here is gonna match that right there or probably that one right there that one right there for sure that delta for sure probably that valley you know various ones and then the ceramic there is a lot of different styles of ceramic right if you get down in here like ceramic disk um there let me see if i can find a good one that i like like moen you can kind of see inside there they have this ceramic disc set up as well and then um let's see one more and then like this cern if you get down in there that zern is looking like that as well it's got a uh an interesting inside i mean there's a lot a lot of different ones so that's a jado slash groey ceramic disc and it it looks a little bit different than the others i mean they all kind of look a little different honestly so many different manufacturers they all do it a little bit different and it's just cool that they give you all this stuff to scale right so you could come and you could sit down be like oh no that's not it but it looks a little more like that pretty sweet and then just when you thought it couldn't get any better than this you flip this bad boy over and boom town look at that dude more of the good stuff this is all tub and shower right here's all the diverter stems you can put your diverter stem you can match it up i actually get a lot of questions on these right and so now if somebody sent me a picture i actually could just look this up and be like well this is what i think it is and i think it'd be cool or you could go down to your local ferguson that's where i picked mine up at and ask them for one of these there should be a ferguson in town they're a pretty big company i think they're all over the us and they had these at the counter the guy actually had one laminated and he wouldn't give it to me and he's like oh but i think we got some paper ones i'm like yours is paper butt laminated it's cool i said i'll happily take this and i'll go laminate it myself so they're awesome man it's super cool and i think this is super helpful and let me know what you guys think i am really really i don't know i'm excited about this sorry kind of geeking out on plumbing stuff here here's their info down on the bottom right and they got their number over here you could always call them and ask them for one of these whether you're a plumber a handyman or just a homeowner looking for a stem repair this is an awesome tool all right these guys at joan stevens i got no affiliation with them they
