Apprentice Installs his 1st Underground Service! What you guys think? #hendythesparky #electrician
What happens here
Electrical wires are pulled through the conduits and into the meter pan and transfer switch. A cable stripper tool is used to remove the outer insulation from the wires, exposing the conductors. Since aluminum conductors are being used, Nolox anti-oxidant grease is applied to the connections to prevent corrosion and ensure good electrical contact. Finally, all electrical connections are securely torqued to specified values using a torque wrench, ensuring safety and compliance with electrical codes.
Goal: Establish secure and safe electrical connections to the service.
