What happens here
Once all internal wiring and connections are complete and secured, the electric meter is carefully inserted into the meter pan. Finally, the protective covers for both the meter pan and the Generac transfer switch are installed, sealing off the electrical components and completing the underground service installation.
Goal: Finalize the external appearance and seal the electrical components.
