Amazing! Only had minutes to save a calf's life! Here's what I did

What happens here

The presenter reveals that he did not have a trocar available during the actual emergency. Instead, he used a Milwaukee utility knife with a brand-new blade. He describes quickly and painlessly (as much as possible) sticking the cow with the knife in the correct location (which he demonstrated previously with the trocar), allowing the air to escape. He heard a distinct "shhh" sound as the gas was released, signifying the success of the intervention. Within 45 seconds, the cow got up, ran to the creek for water, and was back eating hay within 10 minutes. He notes there were no issues or infection afterward.

Goal: Provide immediate relief to a bloated cow when specialized tools are unavailable.
