couple of tips to start out with and the first one is use the correct kind of plastic so we've got two different colors we got blue and we got black and one of them is flake resistant right John it is indeed you want to use the blue advance masking film it's treated with a chemical that's going to keep your paint from flaking all over those pretty cabinets you just worked so hard on that masking does cost a little bit more the plastic because it is treated with that chemical what's the cost difference between these two you're really gonna pay about double for the stuff with the blue ink over the black ink but it is going to save you a huge headache especially on a small product like this you're really only gonna use one roll it's worth the maybe six bucks we use two different types of tape we use CP 199 this is from Sur tape this is our production tape and then we also use sprog tape but there's a difference between the two and when would you use one or the other zone so the CP 199 had to hire adhesive that's typically gonna be what we're using since we use lacquers on all of our cabinets it has less of a tendency to curl up than frog tape frog tape however is really great if you're gonna have that masking up for a long time or if you're going to be using water-based products so you're gonna see us in the video at the end here and you'll see us masking we use paper we use 9-inch paper and then we use the plastic it's 72 inch spell and there's our two tapes sometimes we do
