Always Have Separate Shutoffs Under Your Sinks! #plumber #plumbing #diy #homerepair

What happens here

Go back to your main water meter box and slowly turn the main water supply valve back to the open position. Return to the sink and reconnect the hot water supply line to the top outlet of the new dual-stop valve, and the dishwasher supply line to the bottom outlet. Use channel lock pliers to ensure these connections are secure but again, avoid overtightening. Once all lines are reconnected, slowly open both shut-off handles on the new dual-stop valve. Visually inspect all connections for any signs of leaks. The video shows the faucet working with a cat drinking from it, indicating successful water flow.

Goal: Reestablish water flow, reconnect appliances, and ensure no leaks
