[Applause] [Music] well we're starting the second half of this project here um just tearing into this double tier wall it's super uh wet down here so we'll see what we run into for the base might have to add a thickened base to uh compensate for the wet soils and got some goofy stuff going on here drain tile there the rock was super deep so maybe that was causing it the other half of the walls in the back are finished they're just been putting finished touches on it and throwing some cap on a little later once we like how the walls end off we stepped it down pretty symmetrically here two-tier wall now we're gonna do a similar thing on this side i was just showing alex here uh good reason why this wall was failing is well one it's on no aggregate that i can see we're at the base level now where we're pulling out the old wall you can see remnants of blocks in here the one thing i've been noticing is that as i'm digging some of these out they're staying together but this is remnants of the actual base block so uh when they just fall apart like this i haven't seen this too much but this is the actual block and it's just decomposed and rotten just gone so uh good indicator why the wall was uh falling over
