A neat little trick that a Pro Painter Taught Me! #painting
What happens here
After the main can of stain is well-mixed, carefully pour a manageable amount of the stain into a smaller blue paint pail or bucket. This smaller container will be easier to handle during application. If there's any time delay between mixing the large can and pouring into the smaller pail, or if you will be working for an extended period, briefly re-mix the stain in the smaller pail with the drill and mixer attachment to maintain consistency.
Goal: Prepare a smaller, more manageable quantity of stain for immediate application.
