A boring garden bed? Not round here partner...#hardscape #hardscaper #patio #paverpatio

What happens here

Begin by clearing the ground of any debris, loose soil, or vegetation. Once the area is clear, spread a layer of crushed gravel to serve as the base for the wall. Use a rake to evenly distribute the gravel and guide rails to maintain a consistent depth. Ensure the gravel base is thoroughly leveled with a spirit level and compacted (though compaction is implied by careful leveling). Carefully place the first course of rectangular concrete blocks on this prepared gravel base. Use a spirit level (both a long one and a smaller red one are shown) to check that each block is perfectly level both horizontally and vertically. A rubber mallet can be used to gently tap blocks into their precise position to achieve optimal leveling and alignment.

Goal: Establish a level and stable foundation for the retaining wall.
