What happens here
A large wooden cross-cut sled designed for miter cuts is demonstrated on a table saw. The sled has a fixed 45-degree fence and runners that slide accurately in the table saw's miter slots. A workpiece is placed firmly against the fence, and the sled is pushed through the spinning blade to make a precise 45-degree miter cut. Subsequently, two such miter-cut pieces are shown being joined at a corner using a brad nailer to form a perfect mitered joint, common in picture frames or box construction.
Goal: Achieve accurate 45-degree miter cuts on a table saw for corner joints.
