Do these four things before you tape drywall. Let's get after it. First thing, make sure that every screw is slightly below your drywall. If you find one that's raised, just go ahead and drive it in a little deeper. Next, remove any loose paper or rough edges. Next, you want to find your butt joints. When two butt ends of the drywall meet, it's a butt joint. You want to go ahead and you want to 45 those. Get them all nice and flat. So, just take your knife, get a sharp blade, and just run it down the edge. All right, make sure that you 45 your butt joints just like this. Before you tape, you're going to want to prefill all your large gaps. So, your butt joints, any holes you may have in your drywall, whatever the case is, if you want to put easy sand 45. 45 is just how many minutes you have to work with this stuff. Pour a little bit in here. Now, go ahead and get yourself some clean water. Take your 6-in knife and just mix it up. Here's the consistency I got. Like a peanut butter type consistency. Go ahead and just fill your butt joint. And if you do your butt joint right, you should have no wobble at all. All right, so I went ahead and I prefilled a lot of these areas. Um this drywall is super wavy from hanging on the ceiling for 25 years, so I had to like do a high spot here and a low spot here, but now it's all pretty smooth. And tomorrow we're going to be doing some corner bead, doing our first coat, and taping. Anyways, I got stuff to do. Catch you guys later. Peace.
