20KW Kohler/Yanmar Turbodiesel RV Generator Oil Change (Newell, Prevost, etc)

What happens here

Place an oil drain pan underneath the oil drain plug. The drain plug for this Yanmar generator is a 19mm bolt. Use a wrench or socket to loosen and remove the drain plug, allowing the old engine oil to flow into the pan. Once the oil has drained completely, reinsert and tighten the drain plug. Next, locate the old oil filter. The video shows a side-mounted filter (B227) which can be messy. Quickly unthread the old filter by hand, allowing any remaining oil to drain into the pan, and then dispose of it properly.

Goal: Remove old oil and filter from the generator engine.
