Consult with an experienced individual, such as a neighbor or mechanic, to confirm the location of the hydraulic fluid fill point for the lift cylinder. The expert advised that the fluid is added directly to the top of the hydraulic cylinder itself, not a separate reservoir. Gather the necessary hydraulic fluid (Kubota Super UDT2 Universal Trans-Hydraulic Fluid is used in the video) and a suitable container for filling (a soap bottle with a funnel is used for easier access). Additionally, retrieve an adjustable wrench for removing the cylinder's plug and oil absorbent mats for cleaning up spills.
