Measure the length needed for the corner bead and cut it to size using tin snips. Ensure a gap of about a quarter-inch is present between the drywall and the fiberglass surround. Dry-fit the bead by inserting the wider, solid edge into this gap, ensuring the perforated edge sits flat against the face of the drywall. Confirm the fit before proceeding.
