After a dry fit has confirmed measurements, remove the overflow assembly from the tub wall. Apply a continuous bead of silicone sealant to the groove on the back of the overflow gasket. Reposition the overflow assembly behind the tub's overflow hole. From inside the tub, insert the black plastic alignment tool through the overflow hole and into the overflow assembly. Place the metal flange ring over the alignment tool and secure the entire assembly by tightening the two provided Phillips head screws.
Goal: Secure and seal the overflow drain component to the bathtub.
