In this video
Ignite a propane torch and begin heating the joint. Focus the heat on the valve body, as it is thicker and takes longer to heat than the pipe. Heat the side of the joint opposite from where you will apply the solder. Periodically touch the solder wire to the joint; when the metal is hot enough, the solder will melt instantly and flow into the seam. Once it starts to flow, remove the direct flame and apply the solder around the joint. The heat in the metal will draw the solder in via capillary action. Use a rag to quickly wipe away any excess drips.
