Turn the washing machine to access the back panel. Using a screwdriver with a nut driver bit, loosen the hose clamp that secures the drain hose to the machine's drain outlet. Pull the hose off the fitting. Be prepared for water to spill out. Then, pull the other end of the hose out of the wall drain pipe and remove the old hose completely.
Goal: Disconnect and remove the old hose from the washing machine and wall drain.
