To ensure accurate and straight placement of the anti-slip treads, use masking tape to create a guideline. Place a strip of masking tape along the front edge of the stair tread. Next, measure the total width of the stair using a measuring tape. Divide this measurement in half to find the center point. Use a pencil to mark this center point directly onto the masking tape. Repeat for each stair.
