Step 4 · Wash Solar Panels

Dip a soft-bristled brush or a non-abrasive sponge into your prepared cleaning solution. Starting at the top of a panel, gently scrub the surface in a back-and-forth or circular motion. Work in manageable sections, ensuring you cover the entire surface without letting the cleaning solution dry. Rinse your brush or sponge frequently in the cleaning solution bucket to avoid re-depositing dirt onto the panels. Apply only light pressure to avoid damaging the panel surface.
