Step 3 · Remove the Old Shower Head: Careful Removal Techniques

This is the step people usually slow down on. Go finger-tight first, then a quarter turn. No rush — replay the clip whenever it helps.

Unscrew the old shower head by turning it counterclockwise. If it resists, use an adjustable wrench wrapped with a cloth to protect the finish. Support the shower arm to prevent damage.
