Step 4 · Install the New Shower Arm

This is the step people usually slow down on. Go finger-tight first, then a quarter turn. No rush — replay the clip whenever it helps.

Screw the new shower arm onto the pipe fitting by turning it clockwise until it's hand-tight. Then, use your adjustable wrench to tighten it another half to a full turn. Ensure the arm is properly aligned.
