Step 3 · Mark Hanging Points

Hold the mirror against the wall in its intended position, or use its dimensions to calculate the hanging points. If using D-rings and wire on the mirror, measure the distance from the top of the mirror to the hanging point of the wire when taut. Transfer these measurements to the wall, aligning with the marked stud locations. Mark the exact spot(s) where screws or anchors will go. Use a level to ensure your marks are perfectly horizontal.
