Step 2 · Disconnect the Old Faucet's Supply Lines

This is the step people usually slow down on. Go finger-tight first, then a quarter turn. No rush — replay the clip whenever it helps.

Using an adjustable wrench, carefully disconnect the supply lines from the old faucet. Position a bucket or towels underneath to catch any remaining water. Loosen the connections slowly to avoid sudden water bursts.
