Step 3 · Remove the Old Delta Valve: Preparing for the New Installation

This is the step most people slow down on. Take it one move at a time — there’s no rush, and you can rewind the clip as many times as you need.

Remove the old Delta valve. This may require unscrewing it or carefully cutting it out depending on its installation. Use appropriate tools like pliers or an adjustable wrench to loosen and remove any retaining nuts or clips.
