Step 2 · Disconnect the Water Supply Lines

This is the step people usually slow down on. Go finger-tight first, then a quarter turn. No rush — replay the clip whenever it helps.

Using an adjustable wrench, carefully disconnect the water supply lines from the old faucet. Position a bucket beneath the sink to catch any remaining water. Take care not to over-tighten or strip the fittings.
