Step 8 · Test Temperature Control Thermostat

The thermostat controls the cooling cycle. If the refrigerator is not cooling, the thermostat might be set too high or have failed. Its location varies by model, often found inside the refrigerator compartment. Test its continuity with a multimeter if possible.
