Step 3 · Install the New Toilet

This is the step people usually slow down on. Go finger-tight first, then a quarter turn. No rush — replay the clip whenever it helps.

Apply a new wax ring to the toilet flange. Carefully lower the new toilet onto the flange, ensuring it's properly seated. Secure the toilet to the floor using the nuts and bolts. Tighten them securely but avoid over-tightening.
