It's essential to measure each one, as no two stairs are exactly alike—especially in homes with history and character! If you discover any steps with unique dimensions, use your masking tape to label them with a corresponding number. For custom orders, taking a quick photo of each step along with your measurements is an excellent way to ensure a perfect result. Remember the carpenter's rule: measure twice, cut once.
