Step 1 · Removing Your Old Shower Head

This is the step people usually slow down on. Go finger-tight first, then a quarter turn. No rush — replay the clip whenever it helps.

Carefully unscrew the old showerhead by turning it counterclockwise. If it's stuck, use an adjustable wrench wrapped in a cloth to prevent damage. Apply penetrating lubricant like WD-40 if needed, allowing it to sit for a few minutes before attempting removal.
