Step 2 · Connect the Inlet Water Filter Supply Line

This is the step people usually slow down on. Go finger-tight first, then a quarter turn. No rush — replay the clip whenever it helps.

Identify the filter's IN port (usually blue). Attach the inlet line, hand-tightening the compression nut before using a wrench to secure it an additional half to three-quarters of a turn. Avoid over-tightening.
