Step 3 Ā· Remove the Old Bathtub Faucet
This is the step people usually slow down on. Go finger-tight first, then a quarter turn. No rush ā replay the clip whenever it helps.
Remove the screws or nuts holding the old faucet in place. Depending on the model, you may need a basin wrench or an Allen wrench to access and remove stubborn fittings. Carefully remove the faucet from the tub spout.
