Step 2 · Position and Mark Bracket

Hold the floating shelf bracket against the wall at the predetermined height. Use a level to ensure the bracket is perfectly horizontal. Align the bracket's screw holes with the center of the marked wall studs. Once positioned correctly, use a pencil to mark the wall through each screw hole on the bracket.
