Step 3 · Install the New Fill Valve

This is the step people usually slow down on. Go finger-tight first, then a quarter turn. No rush — replay the clip whenever it helps.

Carefully follow the manufacturer's instructions to install the new fill valve. Insert it into the tank, secure it with the nut, and reconnect the water supply line. Adjust the fill height according to the manufacturer's guidelines.
