Step 2 · Disconnect the Supply Pipe from the Faucet

This is the step people usually slow down on. Go finger-tight first, then a quarter turn. No rush — replay the clip whenever it helps.

Use an adjustable wrench to carefully disconnect the supply pipe. For threaded connections, use two wrenches – one to hold the faucet body steady, the other to turn the pipe counter-clockwise. Prepare a bucket to catch any remaining water.
