Using a variety of brushes, sponges, or stencils, begin applying the fabric paint according to your design. Work in thin, even layers. Allow each layer to dry slightly before applying the next, especially for opaque colors or detailed work, to prevent muddiness and ensure smooth transitions. Experiment with different application techniques like dabbing, brushing, or stippling.
