Step 6 · Address Drainage Problems

If the dishwasher is not draining, the issue may be with the drain pump, filter, or drain hose. Remove and clean the drain filter thoroughly. Inspect the drain pump impeller for any foreign objects that may be preventing it from turning. Check the drain hose for kinks or blockages by disconnecting it from the pump and the sink drain or garbage disposal connection and blowing through it or using a plumber's snake.
