Step 3 · Run New Plumbing Lines: Extend the Water Supply

This is the step most people slow down on. Take it one move at a time — there’s no rush, and you can rewind the clip as many times as you need.

Install new plumbing lines from the existing shower supply lines up to the ceiling shower head location. This might involve soldering copper pipes (if using copper) or using PEX fittings. Maintain a proper slope for efficient drainage. For PEX, ensure correct crimping of the connections.
