Step 2 · Measure Your Tread Depth

For a secure fit, accuracy is key. Place your tape measure at the very front edge of the step (this is often called the 'bullnose') and measure straight back until you touch the vertical board, known as the 'riser.' This dimension ensures our treads will sit perfectly on your stair.
