Step 4 · Install the New Mounting Bracket

Most new light fixtures come with a specific mounting bracket. Align this bracket with the screw holes in the electrical box. Use the provided screws to attach the bracket securely. Ensure the bracket is flush against the wall and does not wobble. If the electrical box is loose, you may need to secure it to the wall studs or use a box extender.
