Step 5 · Final Connections, Testing, and Leak Detection

This is the step most people slow down on. Take it one move at a time — there’s no rush, and you can rewind the clip as many times as you need.

Connect all water supply and drain lines to the main lines. Carefully turn on the water supply, checking all connections and fixtures for leaks. Thoroughly test each fixture for proper operation. If leaks are found, address them promptly before proceeding.
