You've never seen anything like this! Cool chicken coop ideas for "grass fed" poultry!
What happens here
The core of the new mobile chicken coop is its frame, constructed from 4-inch PVC drain pipe. This material is chosen for its lower cost compared to high-pressure PVC pipe and its lighter weight. The chicken wire is then securely attached to the PVC frame using self-tapping screws and large washers. To prevent sagging in the middle of the long side, especially where waterers and feeders will be hung, a 1-inch PVC support beam is installed across the width of the coop. This support is held in place by bolts that run through the 4-inch PVC pipe.
Goal: Assemble the main structure of the coop and its wire enclosure.
