YOU'VE NEVER SEEN A WELDING TABLE LIKE THIS! CUSTOM HEAVY STEEL WORKBENCH BUILD!

What happens here

After positioning the steel plate, tac-weld it to the frame. The presenter initially thought his smaller Eastwood MIG 135 welder wasn't powerful enough for the 3/8-inch steel, but after adjusting settings (and cleaning the contact points), he found it sufficient for tacking. Apply tack welds in three places on each side of the beam directly supporting the tabletop, and then on each individual side of the tabletop where it meets the frame. The goal is to secure the tabletop firmly to the frame. For a final, stronger weld, a larger welder or bolting may be considered later.

Goal: Permanently secure the steel plate tabletop to the frame.
