Initial Sawmill Observation & Equipment Preparation

You'll never guess what happened! ENGINE BLEW UP! Did I do something wrong?
What happens here
The video opens with the sawmill engine (Kohler EFI) running and producing a large amount of white smoke. The operator attempts to restart it, but it continues to smoke heavily. The plan for the day is introduced: to mill Southern Yellow Pine logs into dimensional lumber (2x4s) for building a tool crib and a barndominium. The operator and his helper, Chris, prepare their equipment by gathering a Stihl MS 500i chainsaw, a Husqvarna combination fuel and bar oil can, and safety gear including Stihl chainsaw chaps and a Stihl hard hat with earmuffs and a face shield. They also prepare the mini loader by unlocking its door, unlatching the seatbelt, and starting its engine. The operator notes the cold temperatures and cycles the glow plugs twice for the mini loader's diesel engine before starting.
Goal: Observe initial engine failure, prepare chainsaws, safety gear, and mini loader.
