Repair Electric Polybraid Fence

What happens here

Inspect the polybraid electric fence for any damage, especially in areas where mowing or other activities have occurred. To repair the fence, insert a new 'short pigtail step-in post' into the ground at the location of the break. Secure the broken ends of the polybraid fence line by tying them together with a simple knot around the new step-in post, ensuring good electrical contact if possible, or by using a dedicated polybraid connector. This type of fence relies on psychological barriers for the cows, so as long as the fence is intact and can conduct electricity, it will be effective.
